# Add a new student to your school directly

Though we have lots of ways to add many students to Literatu, there will always be that time where you need to add a new student to your school quickly. Here's how to do that.

  Follow these instructions or watch the video following: 

1. Open a web browser and go to [www.literatu.com](http://www.literatu.com).
2. Login with your community administrator or teacher account.
3. Click the hamburger menu at the top left of the screen, and select Manage -> Students <https://www.literatu.com/communities/students>
4. Click the blue +Add Students button&#x20;
5. Key in the student's name, email address and a password. You can add more than 1 by clicking 'Add row'.&#x20;
6. Choose the classes to join that student to by clicking, Shift-Click (or Command-Click on a Mac) allows you to select many classes.
7. Click Submit when you are ready. The student will be able to login. &#x20;
