# Joining and Leaving Classes
### To Join or Leave a Class if You are Running Scribo:
Scribo uses a wizard to manage classes. If you are not using Scribo, please scroll down for instructions on using the Manage Classes page.
1. Open a web browser and go to [www.literatu.com](http://www.literatu.com).
2. Login with your teacher or community administrator account.
3. On the Scribo Activities page () click 'Quick Setup'.
4\. Click the '**Join/Leave class'** block.
5\. If you would like to **join a class**, search for the class name in the field labeled 'Type class name here' beneath the Join Class heading. Click the blue 'Join Class' button to join a class.
6\. If you would like to **leave one of your classes,** click the blue 'Leave Class' button on the class block you'd like to leave.
### To Join or Leave Classes using Manage Classes:
1. Open a web browser and go to [www.literatu.com](http://www.literatu.com).
2. Login with your teacher or community administrator account.
3. Click the hamburger menu at the top left of the screen, and select Manage -> Classes.
4. If you would like to **join a class**, click the '**Join other classes**' tab and search for the class name, subject or year/cohort. Select one or more classes to join and click the blue 'J**oin Class**' button at the bottom of the screen. This screen capture shows the process of joining a class.
5\. If you would like to **leave one of your classes**, click the dropdown arrow in the Actions column and select '**Leave Class**'. The following screencast shows the process.
6\. You can select multiple classes to leave by clicking the checkboxes to the right that correspond to the classes you'd like to leave. When you have made your choices, click the Group Actions dropdown below the table, and choose 'Leave Classes'. This screen capture shows the process of leaving one class, then multiple classes.
