This is a student-centered writing improvement model and the easiest way to get started with Scribo in your school. There is no need for teacher training as we are not changing anything that teachers do.
In this model, students are given access to Scribo. Students can use Scribo’s AI to check their writing and give improvement feedback before they submit their text to their teacher.

Baseline persuasive or narrative writing skills with the Writing Skills Assessment. Assessments are graded against a NAPLAN-style rubric with scaled scores and bands equated to NAPLAN 2019 norms.
Automatic grading is powered by a self-learning neural network built on Google’s own natural language AI. This lets us consistently deliver accurate results within seconds of a student submitting their response online.

Scribo Pronto
Scribo Pronto is a Chrome extension aimed at teachers and students in schools that are not yet ready for full Scribo.
The Scribo Pronto extension appears whenever teachers and students are in Google docs. Pronto analyses vocabulary, sentence structures and readability. Pronto also offers AI writing feedback, rubric grading and writing insights, plus a beautiful writing report to students.
Because Pronto runs in a stand-alone environment, there is no school setup required. Pronto can be installed by teachers and students in minutes.
