# Link to your Google Classroom

Getting Scribo going in your class in minutes

## Sync with Google Classroom

Our mission is to help teachers connect with students. To do this Scribo needs to know who your students are and what class they are in. When Google Classroom is the single source of truth about students in classes, a simple SYNC will link Scribo to Google Classroom.

### Steps to Sync Google Classroom Classes to Scribo Classes

1. Open Google Docs with a Teacher account linked to Scribo
2. Open Add-On -> Literatu Scribo -> Scribo
3. On the Scribo Panel click -> Sync with Classroom
4. On the left side of the window, Select your Google Course and the corresponding Literatu Class
5. If you have no Literatu Classes as yet, choose 'Add a Class' from the dropdown to complete the link
6. Click -> 'Link these two'
7. On the right side, click the blue circular icon between the Classes. This is the sync trigger you can run at any time. If new students are added to Google Classroom, this button will SYNC them to Literatu.<br>

Literatu takes all students from your Google Classroom, creates linked accounts, places them in the right class and opens the communication channels between Classroom and Scribo. In a very quick 10 seconds at most, teachers have their structure all set up and ready to go.
