# Get Students Writing in Web

Scribo has a powerful web interface that sits alongside Google Docs

## Scribo has a Powerful Web App for Students

IMPORTANT TO NOTE – USER ACCOUNTS IN GOOGLE LINK TO LITERATU

Your Google account is linked to Scribo. When signed into Literatu via your Google Account, Google owns the access, the email address and the password. It's called Single Sign On (SSO) and once user accounts are linked, logging into Scribo means you HAVE TO BE LOGGED INTO GOOGLE.\
\
Another important point to note is that you can only be logged into each browser (Chrome or Firefox or Safari) with one account unless you have a private or incognito session running. The same applies for Microsoft O365. If you confuse logins, you will get unexpected results. Most browsers will all default back to one signed in account.
{% endhint %}

## Login to Literatu Scribo

Using either your Email, Google or Microsoft SSO linked account, go to [www.literatu.com](https://docs.literatu.com/student-interaction/www.literatu.com).

## Scribo Knows the User's Profile

When teachers login, Scribo knows the Classes to which they are linked. Teachers can join and unjoin classes at any time. This is easily done from the Google Add-on for Scribo.

When students login, Scribo knows their details and the classes to which they have membership.

1. Classes the Student belongs to
2. Activities in progress
3. Students do an ad hoc, SOLO writing check
4. Students enter a Class key to join a new Class
