The biggest influence teachers have on students is through feedback. Our favourite teacher Kelly says loudly, "If you are a teacher and don't understand the power of feedback, you have your head under a rock." Feedback is a huge time investment for many English and Humanities teachers. Often teachers spend over 20 hours a week giving feedback that vanishes into books, bags and digital files. The real tragedy is that most feedback, and its impact, is lost the second it is returned to students.
