# Google Integration

## Google Classroom – Quick Set-up

We don't talk about how to set up Google Classroom because we assume that you have your Google Classroom going. Google Classroom is a really nice way for teachers to create Classes, Courses and link Students into a channel of open communication. \
\
Literatu follows the same logic. If you have Google Classroom set up, you have everything Literatu needs to build out a mirror image and keep everything in sync.

## Google Docs

The reason Scribo is available inside Google is to give teachers and students awesome writing assistance as they write. It makes sense to have Scribo right alongside Google Docs. Scribo is a great assistant working with you.

**Scribo is an Add-on for Google Docs**, available for all in the [Google Marketplace](/install-the-add-on.md).

## Google Domain Permissions

### Your Google Domain must approve Add-on Components First

If Google Docs won't let you install the Scribo Add-on, you will need your Google Admin to open access for the Scribo Add-on to the Google domain. \
Placing Scribo Add-on onto the approved list makes Scribo available to all students and teachers in the school domain. It is a simple permission to add by any Administrator. The best way to add permission to Scribo is to Whitelist the Add-on. This gives all students and teachers full access permission without a need for continual approval.
